Guardian Window Films worked with Speller Metcalfe on a charity project at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, helping to create a relaxing “Secret Garden” environment for patients.
The aim was to transform the existing walls and bring the feeling of the outdoors into the space, using bespoke tree and woodland imagery to create a calmer, more welcoming environment where patients could relax.
Guardian provided a complete design, print and installation service for the project. Bespoke woodland graphics featuring realistic tree imagery were designed and printed onto white vinyl before being professionally installed across the designated wall areas.
As the installation took place within a live hospital environment, our team worked carefully to minimise disruption to patients, staff and the hospital’s day-to-day operations.
The full installation was completed within two days.
The finished graphics completely transformed the walls, creating the intended forest-inspired feel and helping bring the Secret Garden concept to life.
The installation provided a much warmer and more visually engaging environment for patients to enjoy while maintaining a professional finish suitable for the hospital setting.
The hospital team were very happy with the quality and overall finish of the completed project.
